Once again a packed Floral Pavilion theatre was treated to pantomime at its very best ,with an excellent set, colourful costumes, and plenty of opportunities for the audience participation. It was lovely to see real dance routines, even the youngest dancers were confident and created the "aaah" factor. Charlotte Delaney - Dick Whittington and Steph Hatton as Alice worked together, acting and singing really well, with Hannah Bennet portraying a lively, acrobatic cat. Terry Davies was an excellent Dame Sarah Suet, and along with Graham Leigh and Jed Flowerday as Snatchet and Grabbit there were plenty of very funny routines for the audience to enjoy. Phil Gilroy was an imposing Alderman Fitzwarren and Luke Bennet a lively Idle Jack, Jessica Leigh and Emilie Sutcliffe as Sam and Lucy were both confident performers. Victoria Delaney looked beautiful as Fairy Bowbells with Jenna Watkins as a very strong Queen Rat with her little rats around her.

All the songs in this production were well performed, dialogue was clear and the chorus numbers were lively and entertaining especially onboard the "Saucy Sal" with the bright sailor costumes. Thank you once again to everyone involved with the Chrysanthemums Pantomime for your hospitality and "Here's to you ,This time next year !"
