We’re on the lookout for confident, charismatic performers to audition for principal roles in our 2027 production of Jack and the Beanstalk! Whether you’re a seasoned performer or ready to make your pantomime debut, we’d love to see you. If you’ve got personality, bags of energy, and a passion for performing, this could be your chance to step into the spotlight.
We’re casting all roles… from the smallest parts to the GIANT ones!

When and where will the auditions take place?
The principal auditions will take place on 14th June 2026, from 14:00 to 16:00, at:

What do I need to prepare for the audition?
Audition pieces will be provided for you on the day to read.
Please prepare a song up to 90 seconds.
Can I audition if I have no previous experience?
Absolutely! We welcome performers of all experience levels to join our production.

Is there a fee to audition?
No, auditioning for the Chrysanths Pantomime is completely free of charge.
Who are the Chrysanths?
The Chrysanthemums are a local drama group that have been putting on fun, family-friendly pantos for decades, bringing the community together with plenty of laughs, music, and crowd participation, and even picking up some award-winning NODA Awards along the way!
Dancer Auditions
The Committee has decided to change the process for dancer’s auditions for this year’s production.
In place of the usual open auditions, dancers who were cast in last year’s production have been invited to take part in this year’s show.
We appreciate that this presents a change and apologise for any disappointment this may cause.
