Yesterday we heard of the sad death of our Honorary Patron Sir Ken Dodd. A true comedy legend and entertainer, he shared our values of providing quality family entertainment and we were delighted when he agreed to become our Patron.
Sir Ken had served the entertainment industry for many years and had given so much to the Merseyside area over a lifetime.
On behalf of the Chrysanths, we want to pay tribute to an entertainer who will be missed by many and whose talent will be long remembered. Whether you attended his one man shows, listened to his records or watched him perform with his Diddy men, you were ‘tickled’ to see this unique performer in action.
We wish to send our sincere condolences to his wife and family at this sad time.
